Taco Bake


4 portions

500 g ground beef
1 yellow onion (chopped)
2 tbsp taco spice (home made or organic store bought)
3/4 cup of water
2 tbsp of tomato puree
200 g cream cheese
200 g crème fraiche or sour cream
1 red bell pepper (chopped)
2.5 cups of shredded cheese

Recipe Steps

Preheat oven to 400F. Fry ground beef and onion in butter. Add taco spice, tomato puree and water. Let simmer. Spread cream cheese and creme fraiche in the bottom of an oven proof pan. Pour meat mixture of top. Add cheese and pepper and bake for 20-25 mins. Serve with a sallad.
