Italian Meatballs in Tomato Sauce


4 servings

2 shallots
1/2 chili
2 cloves of garlic
1 lbs ground beef
1 egg
1 tbsp almond flour
1 tsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp chopped basil
Salt and pepper
Butter for frying

Tomato sauce
3 cloves of garlic
4 tbsp chopped basil
1 lbs diced tomatoes
1 tbsp red wine
1 tsp soya sauce
Salt and pepper

Recipe Steps


Dice the shallots and the chili and fry in half of the butter. Let it cool down.

Press the garlic a mix with remaining ingredients in a bowl. Add shallots and chili.

Make small meatballs of the mixture and fry in the remaining butter.

Tomato Sauce

Press garlic and mix it with remaining ingredients in a pan. Let the sauce simmer for 15 minutes.

Add meatballs and serve.
